I made a mixed CD for a Halloween party last year. It was so much fun I had to do it again this year. But this time with an official theme and cover design. Here are my fun times as a pretend graphic designer.

Super Duper Awesome Signage

One of my favorite train wrecks of advertising. I pass this every day on my way home and finally made the time to capture its glory:



If you have to explain the funky name of your business, then isn't it the wrong kind of funky? Also, please people, a backwards apostrophe? Come now.

The thing is, I have been fascinated by it for so long now that I kind of want to go and, you know, kick back. Baque.

Imitating Life

I made this embroidered picture based on one of my favorite pieces of graffiti, which has now been painted over.



I don't know why I like him so much, but he's now the patron protector of my bookcases, roaring at anyone who would think of taking a book without being given the appropriate clearance.

Dangerous Age

My nephew is in first grade this year and can put letters together to spell words. I've already been shushed a few times for my loose verbiage by the careful parents. I figured I should retire my very favorite refrigerator posting from small, yet inquisitive, eyes and brains....
